New Committee Launched
The Task Force was established this year to effectively carry out tasks within the school and the community. The Task Force works under the auspices of SENSE OF CARING, one of the core values at Gardens.
On 3 March the Mother Soup Project donated butternut soup to the school, which was served to learners during break. The Task Force has also started collecting blankets in preparation for winter. These blankets will be donated to the learners who need them and the rest to the homeless in the school’s surrounds. We welcome donations of used and new blankets which may be dropped off at school daily between 12pm & 3pm.
The Task Force is run by Ms Fortuin, Ms Hamid and Ms Van Harte. They are supported by a team of learner agents.
